Welcome to Certain Doubt, a resource devoted to bringing you the most engaging Philosophy articles and videos available on the Internet. The point of Certain Doubt is to bring Philosophy to all audiences.
The Articles area contains papers that are creatively written and readily accessible to people of all backgrounds. These articles are philosophically rich, but do not require a specific background in Philosophy.
We host regular Cafe Philosophy evenings. These sessions are open to anyone who has an interest in Philosophy (and coffee) and involve guest speakers, TED talks, and most importantly, interesting discussion. We hope to see you at the next Cafe Philosophy.
Our Video section offers links to the best Philosophy videos on the net. Here you can watch documentaries, lectures, and other entertaining Philosophical movies. The beauty of this section is that it gives you the opportunity to watch some of your favorite Philosophers in action.
Within our Online Courses section, you will find courses in different areas of Philosophy. These courses were designed to supplement classroom based courses, but they can be worked through in isolation. Philosophy is highly discussion based, so if you are working through a Philosophy course online, you should discuss the issues raised with family and friends.
The content on Certain Doubt is reviewed and moderated to ensure rich and stimulating Philosophical content is available to all who visit. If you have written an article or produced a video and would like to have it published here, please get in touch. We are always on the lookout for new material.
